Christian Café has two main sections in its
dating profile. The first section involves questions answered by drop down choice boxes but with some quite amusing answers, e.g. about your travel experience: ‘’Lonely Planet eat your heart out’ or ‘My mother doesn’t let me out’. One annoyance is that you can only choose one option, what if you’re as passionate about people watching as you are about rock climbing!? Then you have three specific questions about your Christian faith so you can show exactly the strength of your faith, your specific denomination, and your involvement in the Church.
Next you have 11 questions on a variety of things, from the type of relationship you’re looking for, to your involvement with Christianity, to your current job and life goals. OK, 11 open questions is a lot, and this may put some people off but you don't have to answer, naturally though your dating profile will stand if you do..
There are four main ways to search for dating partners at Christian Café: Quick Match, Advanced Search - where you can use all the criteria from your dating profile, members online and new members. This is all fine but I would have liked a more typical quick search where you can quickly change the geographical location you are searching from.
Are there enough members? As a niche site its pretty good, and Christian singles in the greater London area are particularly well served. Outside of London
Christian online daters do naturally need to be a bit more flexible and look to contact daters perhaps in other towns and cities.You can make contact with a possible date by email or by sending a wink but there’s no instant chat.
Finally Christian Café allows you to see who’s been viewing you, but you can't keep tabs on which dating members you’ve been viewing.
